i discussed this earlier but drake never "reworks" existing verses on his songs. maybe he removed pressa and added another verse

I think his pen is sharper than it was a decade ago, his songs are structured better imo, but he will never write an album like Take Care again because he’s not that guy anymore

He doesn’t have to make take care tho

He can just make a mature sounding album for his age and stop trying to constantly appeal to the youth and streamer audience

He’s for sure improved his pen and flows and versatility and even singing (when he wants it to be) but he needs to curate his albums better

fatd is the only one i thought was curated badly considering how many good songs that album has. his other recent albums other than fatd don't deviate that much curation wise from his old projects

Nah, early 2010s Drake used to actually write songs

Nowadays most of his stuff is just one or two melodic lines repeated over and over again or the entire song sounding like one long verse

I agree, I use curation as a general word encompassing features, sequencing, art direction, etc
