i do wonder why he did that. probably deleted something that he didn't want to gain exposure or being framed in a malicious way
no way that was in 2022
wtf ?
why i feel like he did that s*** last year
Im in Turkey on the Mediterranean coast and the DJ just played Circadian Rhythm at the beach bar. Actually goes hard in a public setting
Excitement for this album went from like a 10 to a 2 between WDIM and now
I feel like CLB was the same s***, LNCL dropped, hype was peak, then the s*** died, then CLB dropped 13 months after LNCL lmao this freaking guy smh

Episode 4 should spark some hype again, especially if we get an idea of the release date

It seems like he's treating these episodes more as a narrative or exacting revenge vs. rolling out an actual project, which is disappointing to me.
It's almost been a year and a half and after everything that has happened since last summer with the lawsuit etc, just leave it be man.
Probably won't tune into any more full episodes but will def reserve judgement for the eventual project until after hearing it. But that's where I'm at with it.

I mean if that was the case what getback are these episodes actually providing lol? Like how do these equate to an L for any of his opps?

It’s almost like he’s using the “promise” of some sort of “get back” to hype his coping online stan base with ultimately nothing of substance actually happening
It’s why the “red button” narrative was able to build so much hype
But to everyone who doesn’t give a s*** about get back, or the industry being “exposed” it just looks corny and desperate

If I were to guess, he'll probably have some sort of "reveal" that paints his opps in a bad light, which seems to be what these episodes are leading up to based on the imagery that's been given. That's only going to appeal to a certain sect of obsessed stans at this point though, unless it's something earth-shattering. Even then, there's still a huge fatigue about it all.
Could be wrong, just trying to make sense of it.

Yeah I guess that's plausible
Def agree it would have to be earthshattering for sure, especially after the lawsuit. I don't understand why he would still have any desire to address this publicly if he felt the need to resort to litigation behind it lol. I feel like bro jewish side and black side be scrapping in his mind

Well Drake, much like many others in the spotlight, has got a bit of an ego on him. I’m not so much surprised he’s doing it like this, rather just disappointed. It’s not going to change anything and I think the effort is misplaced.
Lowry still got love for Drake. That’s tuff. Respect
i can't remember for what it was but drake was first photographed post not like us in an event with lowry
just like 2018 people were discussing his first public appearance since beef that's why i remember this

Thats an understatement brother lol, the effort is beyond misplaced. That's the wild part about it... These episodes show that he has the capacity to get on some artsy s*** which he's always strayed away from but he decides to do it to be cripticly petty a year behind schedule AND after suing lol how big could your ego be. And then has the nerve to use these grandiose streams to debut music that isn't unique to his catalog in any discernable way lmao s*** is literally baffling

Yet you're still in this thread
Episode 4 so soon

Well yeah I'm a drake fan, and I still believe in any artists ability to bounce back and drop a classic

That's what makes it even more of a head-scratcher. He's kind of in a weird spot with these episodes in a different way. You can't (whether advertently or not) be condescending towards "deep" or multi-layered art like he has in the past, then do something like this and be upset that even some of the super-stans aren't getting it. You've tailored your stanbase to NOT be looking for something like this from you. It's just a strange decision on the timing and strategy.
He’s lost all the momentum and anticipation for this rollout. He should shelve this project and come up with something new.

The cadence of the episodes has basically been 3-5 weeks in between each of them, so we're due for another this week or next week. Obviously doubt it would be this week bc a) we haven't heard anything and b) Taylor.
I do think he should've done 3 eps and given the release date 1-2 weeks away at the end of the 3rd ep tho. It's definitely getting drawn out but as soon as there's new content I'll be tuned in again

Should have been within a week or two of what did I miss. Would have been peak hype.

Lol he could surprise drop and that s*** would ring off.
This s*** coming or what
