Youre over simplifying an extremely complex situation. Sure these people need help and guidance, but it’s not simple and can’t be done in one generation. One of the things plaguing the black community is rappers becoming millionaires off glorifying death culture in our communities.

Sure These guys help their families and inner circles, but the bigger problem maximizes as their communities and fans embody the music. They make soundtracks to murder and d*** deal to. In a way a rappers more influential than a politician.except rappers refuse the responsibility and live recklessly

I’m not saying what he doing was right, but to each their own. He wasn’t hurting anyone. I never even had the chance to listen to his music while he was alive, but as someone who worked to get out of the hood, i feel for the guy.

If I sign up to be a Marine and I get my head blown off, that’s what I signed up for. If I sign up to be a gangbanger/promote that lifestyle and get my head blown off, that’s what I signed up for. In neither scenario did I necessarily “deserve” it, but I knew what it came wit.

i just told you the situation is complex. I don’t have a solution for an aspiring rapper. If you love rap, rap. But I’d definitely try to steer a young brother away from rapping about killing niggas. I live in the same environment these rappers come from, if you glorify death culture, flashing money, gangs, these niggas that really do it and want your spot are gonna catch you slipping. These niggas hold stacks to their ears talking about we run the city
