I’m not disagreeing with him, just can’t believe ppl would try to judge a man on the day he died. Idk where these ppl come from, but I was taught a man is no longer your enemy (not in a literal sense) after death.

And as long as the hood exists, we’ll still see music like this. It isn’t even my fav type of music, but music is subjective.

See what you’re talking about in here has something to do with the environment that a lot of these young black men grow up in.

When people always say rap and it’s subject matter has negative effects they need to start looking at the environment these dudes came up in. Maybe if we changed a lot of what happens and what is glorified in our community we wouldn’t see niggas talking about murder and s*** on wax.

But that’s not a discussion folks are ready to have yet for some reason.

Perhaps there is an element of Law of Attraction going down. I’m usually skeptical of any whoo-hoo s***. But there’s an alarming trend of specifically rappers/musicians damn near predicting and glorifying their own demise in their music then unfortunately having and early death.
