When you had to level your shroomish to its mid 50s without evolving it to learn Spore and 3rd gen introduced a new EXP level type that take more EXP for lvl 100 than legendaries and they gave it to shroomish

Breloom with spore is my go to mon for catching Pokémon cause it’s not that slow compared to other spore users. In later gens it can als learn false swipe
