The remakes are dang near guaranteed to work with Home. The sinnoh games are also the titles that have most of the left out Pokemon in SS, & SS will probably be able to get them from the remakes to fully round out the dex or damn near.

Let's Go is also compatible with Home btw & those mons that are legal are transferrable into SS. Let's Go does not have its own GTS.

Arceus is the one we're not sure will work with Home, but thats because of how widely different it seems at the moment. While the remakes can easily be implemented.

Im 9.5 out of 10 its Home. For years since 2019 they've been making it clear since Home released that it is now the universal transfer app. Its easier for them, easier for people & a bit more money in their pockets.

If the remakes dont have other gen pokemon, the Home app will just allow you to bring Pokemon in that are compatible, & not allow others for that specific transfer. You can individually pick pokemon to take in & out home btw. Its not hard to get around National dex or older gen issues.

Its suppose to be -the- fool proof transfer solution for at least as long as Switch is around. There is already a precedent set from Let's Go & base SS.

Everything you could do in GTS is also available in Home as well, plus a bit more.

Really!?!? That's even worst....... What's crazy is knowing Game Freak they'll abandon Home soon for another bank like project. SMH. I'm still wondering if the DPP remakes will keep the GTS park from platinum.

We're not 100% sure they'll keep home. They abandoned Bank pretty much after ORAS, only updating it to accept SUMO, and that was the universal transfer app as well. What you're also ignoring is the massive paywall and microtransaction like pay model they have for home that has always been a huge criticism. Even Pokemon's Number 1 shill Joe Merrick(Serebii.net owner) has complained about it.

This is also a problem because GF never stay with one thing. That's why people are upset about Home having the GTS AND you have to pay to use the GTS to its full potential. You even have to pay to use Home to its full potential. I don't see how anyone think it's ok to have to pay to transfer Pokemon. Like Home even has the Candy Crush timer to be able to transfer more Pokemon, because you can only transfer a limited amount per day. So someone who has a living Dex has to pay more money to transfer all 800+ Pokemon from Gen 1-7. If they do abandon home that person may have to pay additional money to move their Pokemon to the new app. That's scummy and bad consumer practices.

Nintendo's lack of good servers is why they charge for s*** like their online service, same for Pokemon Home

even being the #1 media franchise in history they have a high upkeep that needs to be adjusted before they can start to play the multiplayer field like Microsoft (pro consumer, high quality)

there's a reason why GO is a Niantic product when Nintendo and Pokemon could have easily pulled it off alone using funds to backwards engineer or partner with Google to make something even more advanced than GO

Pokemon should have already dominated mobile market by releasing older original or new exclusive RPG core series games for the phone at a $29.99 USD price

Pokemon literally NEVER needs to cut content or fold on pro consumer practices and i used to think they were creative or time-based moves but after researching about their unusually high upkeeps combined with (until recently) out-of-touch fan service it makes sense that there's just a bad upper management and if that changes (or maybe it has thanks to twitter and reddit) we can all eat soon

HOMe should be FULLY FREE and regardless of cost the Switch app should have GTS

Agreed! It's way too much that's locked behind the paywall. Being able to trade once a day is awful lmao that's what a long of people are ignoring that it has some pros but those pros are weigned down by it's paywall.

What's worst is Game Freak and Nintendo don't support mobile apps long. Nintendo is even planning on getting out the mobile market soon.

But they don't need to. Nintendo has enough money in the bank to support them until 2065. That's what makes all this stuff even more crazy because they have been making even more money on top of what the Wii made them now.
