According to Onoue, there's a lot of back-and-forth between the two teams. The director and designer also pointed out that "Team 1" is a bit more diverse in terms of what it can do, because it's working on hardware that isn't just Nintendo hardware. And from the sounds of it, this development approach is making Game Freak more well-rounded.

However, as a director on GIGA Wrecker the experience opened my eyes to the other aspects of game creation, all the way up to users playing the game,” said Onoue. "It’s really difficult to expect a programmer to have that kind of perspective, but as director I learned how to make a game more appealing and accessible to players, plus aspects of marketing as well.

Straight from the horses mouth. Onoue been with Game Freak since 1996. And has been a lead many times. This is how they handle their teams now. There's no dedicated team for Pokemon anymore. Everyone just go back and forth and it's more info out there that notes that majority of the team is on Team A. Not Team B working on Pokemon.

It’s always been easy to get competitive Pokémon since it’s easy asf to inject them into a hacked 3ds (which is super easy to do)

What coverage break down? GF has in the last decade pumped out more IPs than any other decade. Project gear is real. They prioritize other games over Pokemon. If you want to present your track record showing otherwise please enlighten me. Because this makes sense why they're cutting corners and been cutting corners since Gen 6.

The quiet period is when they pitch ideas. So because when they pitch ideas that mean the production team isn't split up? With the more experienced programmers working on project gear while the programmers who only know one specific area is working on Pokemon? That doesn't disapprove what I said.

Throwing the inexperienced guys on Pokemon and mixing up the teams. There is no longer a set team anymore. It's a mash up of people constantly changing but yeah let's argue context just to argue.

the item is gonna be a gimmick, the other held items are too good to give up for some chip damage prevention. rapid spin as an attack is only slightly less s***ty and speed boost is RNG

honestly stealth rock might be more centralizing than previous gens since a lot of good rapid spin / defog users got hit by dexit. excadrill looks like its going to be a way bigger issue to the meta unless its straight up banned, which restricts the use of another spinner

I bought my switch two years ago thinking the new Pokémon game was going to be groundbreaking and here I am now seriously considering not purchasing this. I refuse to give my money to this half assed project.
