How is it trash? It’s a lot of fun. Only major issue for me in the fun department was that it was too easy.

It's really no need for a fire type in these games. That's why I said get centiskorch because it's more versatile.

I told him to get centiskorch because having just a pure fire type isn't needed for a playthrough. The first gym is grass and they give you ample flying, fire, and bug types to get pass that easy gym. The very next gym is water. Bug/Fire is a better and more versatile typing, Centiskorch is way better than Cinderace (pre hidden ability)
