I don’t think rap healing means Kendrick is the face of rap, just means the values of rap remain authentic, and led by people of the culture and not vultures or corporate interests.

i mean having seen both live (and thats really most peoples only in person interaction with a celebrity) drake feels a lot more authentic than kendrick does, actually thats what i sort of value as a fan of drake, he feels authentic, both in his music in terms of being vulnerable, as well as through social media and his live performances

maybe its because kendrick is less online, so comparing the only interaction ive experienced of them both, kendrick felt like a corporate entity you could replace with a body double and change nothing, drake performs with the crowd

I heavy disagree, but it’s your opinion.

But surely it’s not hard to see why anyone would be turned off by Drakes problematic behaviour & associations and actively route against him.
