HugeSopranosFanBro Euphoria,and 6:16 are classic songs, like that will go down as one of the most important verses in rap history, and not like us was the biggest song of Kendrick’s career….this was obviously a great year for Kendrick.
When Damn dropped those two were very close to each other, Kendrick was already taking too long to drop and then unfortunately decided to take all of Covid off and ruined any momentum he had…at that point Drake(who I believe was already up) ran away with the crown, But let’s not act like Kendrick is some trash artist that hadn’t left a mark. There’s a reason why Kendrick dissing Drake was such a big moment, any body else and no one really cares.
I agree with you guys that meet the Graham's was a swing and miss but it’s not like Kendrick is some trash artist.
I'll be honest i didnt listen to 6:16 that much I want to go back to it but i havent been listening to much of either artist as of late
this whole ordeal this year got me worn out on both
Euphoria is super classic though. Best song of the beef imo besides part 3 of family matters that beat is fantastic

The Darkest AngelWhen it came time we all heard with our own ears Drake is the better rapper
We got multiple double entendres and flipped bars showing off his pen, multiple flows over multiple beats showcasing his skill set, original concepts and not rehashing Timestamp records or SOA
Kendrick was stealing bars from rap battles, tweets, ducking every allegation because his were prerecorded response (poor character and poor pen), he lied multiple times throwing whatever he can get to stick (the daughter s*** was embarrassing), couldn't find the courage to respond to THP6, and allegedly (to be fair it might not be true) he went to Aftermath and begged them to take down Taylor Made Freestyle
As someone who likes Drake and Kendrick equally and followed them from pretty much the beginning. I can say objectively that Kendrick got barred out. This was his chance to prove it and he dropped the ball
Some of y’all really live in a separate reality, it’s fascinating to witness such confident delusion such as this

Bro the verse to the daughter is awful, that’s clearly not drakes kid. I don’t think Drake set Kendrick up or anything but him seeing some kid on instagram backstage and thinking “damn, kinda looks like drake…must be his kid” and putting it in a song is pretty wild lol imagine the song if instead of a verse to “baby girl” he made a verse at Sophie…would have been so much more impactful.

The entire song is a character dissection and assassination, and there are literally more scathing allegations made on the same record.
The only reason people (Drake stans) obsess over the daughter thing being “fake” is because there’s no definitive proof that it’s real, so they’re clinging onto that to claim that the song is trash
