There’s no one who could fill the void so even if it was “over”. drake would still be #1 that’s how much work he’s put in the last 15 years
They all understand this. Just ignore them.
Interesting that all 3 songs continued to grow on Sunday. That's the worst day for songs streaming-wise. Would say a lot if they kept growing into Monday.
bro bout to get muted again
They're muting people for having an honest opinion on a music forum?
My guy releases three songs for free on a Tuesday on his website, his label makes him put them up for stream and at least 1 of them is a top 40/30 debut and he is still the most streamed rapper by month every month this year… like cmon man, y’all trolling don’t even make sense
They're trying to spin this year as an L for him commercially and by all indications, he'll end the year as the most streamed rapper in the US/Globally, as well as the most consumed rapper overall. And all in a year where he was supposedly "destroyed" and had the entire industry turn against him
That's why they're all so angry. They took the best shot they'll ever be able to take against him and it still wasn't enough to get rid of him. They claim his public image and societal standing is ruined but he's still the rapper people would listen to the most above everyone else and all his brands and business ventures are still conducting business as usual. Add that to the fact that he still refuses to "disappear" as they hoped. I'd be mad to if I was a mindless, delusional Drake hater.
Why not make a new thread for this? The front page is crying out for a 15th Drake discussion
How does that gives Kendrick permission to mock the center of such religion tho?
How isn’t it mocking what he was doing?
I'm cool on the disingenuous discourse crodie
A lot of the people that frequent the Drake section cool, but some weird as s*** for no reason

breaking news: they tried to kill him, but the boy prevails

lol drake not going nowhere .
He just not a better rap artist than Kendrick that’s all lol.
He’s still a goat artist.

Yep. They say Kendrick made Drake out to be a pedo but all that is internet talk. Nike, UMG, Apple, etc. are all doing business with him and the casuals are still streaming him more than any other rapper and 99% of artists in general because they know the rumors ain't true
Not one person irl is playing Kendrick outside of NLU, nigga dropped 3 duds before that are completely forgotten by the general public
Drake has multiple hits in multiple genres this year and all they got is a poor man west coast anthem and a music video aiming for viral moments but not one stuck with people. Not to mention a concert where he brought out a wife beater that turned everyone off including a lot of his own fans
lol drake not going nowhere .
He just not a better rap artist than Kendrick that’s all lol.
He’s still a goat artist.
Lol he’s 100% a better rap artist
Drake has more quotables, better beats, more memorable songs.
Kendrick without His concept album gimmick has a pretty thin catalog of great SONGS you can play any time
I’d give him about 10 if I’m being generous. Drake has like 50 plus songs you can blast at any time

When it came time we all heard with our own ears Drake is the better rapper
We got multiple double entendres and flipped bars showing off his pen, multiple flows over multiple beats showcasing his skill set, original concepts and not rehashing Timestamp records or SOA
Kendrick was stealing bars from rap battles, tweets, ducking every allegation because his were prerecorded response (poor character and poor pen), he lied multiple times throwing whatever he can get to stick (the daughter s*** was embarrassing), couldn't find the courage to respond to THP6, and allegedly (to be fair it might not be true) he went to Aftermath and begged them to take down Taylor Made Freestyle
As someone who likes Drake and Kendrick equally and followed them from pretty much the beginning. I can say objectively that Kendrick got barred out. This was his chance to prove it and he dropped the ball

Yet, Drake still lost and his songs and features are flopping now.
Make sure to zip him up when you done
Most Kendrick’s songs that you can keep in day to day rotation are stuff 2012 and prior.
But even those sound dated tbf
If I had to pick tho to play Kendrick in regular rotation I’d go
ADHD
Hol up
Westside right on time (prime Kendrick)
Michael Jordan
Blow my high
Money trees
Maybe cartoons and cereal
P and P 1.5? Maybe
Not that many tbf
Cuz after GKMC he became a album only artist
0-100 clears most of Kendrick’s catalog
Bro Euphoria, and 6:16 are classic songs, like that will go down as one of the most important verses in rap history, and not like us was the biggest song of Kendrick’s career….this was obviously a great year for Kendrick.
When Damn dropped those two were very close to each other, Kendrick was already taking too long to drop and then unfortunately decided to take all of Covid off and ruined any momentum he had…at that point Drake(who I believe was already up) ran away with the crown, But let’s not act like Kendrick is some trash artist that hadn’t left a mark. There’s a reason why Kendrick dissing Drake was such a big moment, any body else and no one really cares.
I agree with you guys that meet the Graham's was a swing and miss but it’s not like Kendrick is some trash artist.
the energy is so fun in here
drake and kendrick goats
