I mean it wouldn't be a smart move on sony's part if they didn't show the console today, when its being released in the fall.
And this is the month and week of when E3 should of happened and preorders for new systems would start this month looking at the history of previous gen's. It would only hurt sony if they didn't reveal it today tbh since microsoft already revealed their console months ago.

TriplesssI really don't think numbers are inflated because it's actually a good deal. Most people don't mind paying 9.99 a month for a lot of great games. And yeah the $1 deal is around but it only works if you haven't bought game pass for a while. I don't see why they would inflate their numbers it's fully believable, especially since the service has been out a couple of years.
I'm not just saying this, it's pretty widely agreed upon how well it did, and inside sources state that's one of the biggest reasons for price flexibility.i agree that game pass does really well but i do think the numbers are pretty inflated
like 6 months ago there was a thing where if you paid for xbox live and then did the game pass $1 trial it would convert your subscription to game pass as well leading to people getting game pass for 3 years for $1
i dont even have an xbox or follow xbox and i heard about this s*** all the time
