well considering they showcase their console releases at e3, and xbox already announced holiday 2020, I mean either they showcase the system now or another event next month. And if they dont say the price, I guarantee we'll see it. Makes no sense to show games off for a console we know nothing about.

Also think microsoft is waiting for sony to name their price, rumors say that microsoft has more flexibility in pricing than sony, so it's a chess game at this point

i would say it makes no sense to show us games for a console we dont know about but we know the specs and most of the controller thats the only part that matters for seeing games imo. The console design and price tag dont change the games ya know?

Microsoft has more flexibility because they are fighting an uphill battle and are willing to do whatever to make sure that they dont get s*** on like last gen

Microsoft's flexibility is due to how incredibly well game pass did and yeah we know the specs but average consumer doesn't even know the console exists and for whatever reason, a lot of people seem to care what these things look like.

I would just be surprised if we didn't see anything of it especially a quick sneak peak of it maybe at the beginning or end, but I fully expect them to do a reveal. if not tho, one is definitely coming by the end of July.

game pass does well but do you know how inflated the numbers are for it? Theres so many workarounds to get it for $1 for like years

Tbh the design of the console doesn’t really matter, it’s not like a phone or a car, the console is just gonna sit on your shelf and you’ll barely notice it, it’s all about the performance and features

I really don't think numbers are inflated because it's actually a good deal. Most people don't mind paying 9.99 a month for a lot of great games. And yeah the $1 deal is around but it only works if you haven't bought game pass for a while. I don't see why they would inflate their numbers it's fully believable, especially since the service has been out a couple of years.
I'm not just saying this, it's pretty widely agreed upon how well it did, and inside sources state that's one of the biggest reasons for price flexibility.
