chipsWell it's the same situation as EA where the actual title of the album took on a life of it's own and fans were watching the creative process in real time as versions of songs and albums were scrapped
This "WLR" isn't really "WLR" - it's just a Playboi Carti album, just as EA wasn't EA it was a rushed mess put out under that title to sell a f***load
This sounds stupid as f*** but hopefully you know what I mean
Kind of like if you moved the LA Lakers to Seattle and changed the whole roster overnight whilst still trying to call them the LA Lakers
I hope Richie convinces him to drop a deluxe and if he can't, just leak the original himself

Production on that s*** was garbage and Uzi doesn't know what makes his music good anymore.
Hence his scattergun approach in 2020. Dropping 60 tracks in a calendar year is bizarre. Maybe a dozen of these are worth keeping. His recent antics on Twitter show how lost he is at the moment.
The departure of Drama and Cannon clearly affected his career more than most thought it would. I guess know we know who was really pulling the strings around LIR-VTW era

Astroworld was hyped the exact same, did the job and got nothing but love. I don't think people go into it wanting to be negative, but once the memes and spin cycle take hold there's no stopping it
When mfs are calling the album trash 10 minutes into the release , the negative reception is gonna spread like wildfire .
