I mean you can talk about music by reviewing it it’s just most reviewers way of writing makes them sound like they’re so far up their own assjoles
3.5 from Rolling Stones
I feel like this definitely gonna be his most polarizing album ever
I think reviewing music is fine I just don't know why it's taken so seriously as a profession tbh
Curious on how you know he’s not a stan
Because Ive seen him talk s*** on Kendrick several times, dude liked the post himself
album is a strong 6, light 7
Saying "strong" and "light." Ok fantano stan. Holy cringe.
That last paragraph misses the entire point of the album so hard that it’s actually pissing me off
Nah the talk abt cancel culture is annoying asf tho
I like it because the people who play moral police get so offended by the mere mention of it.
“It doesn’t exist!!!”

I don't see the purpose of just mentioning it without saying anything about it, it's just corny to me, it's also just one of the least consequential things ever relative to how much ppl talk abt it it's tiring
Reviewing art in general is so corny.
And to say your profession is an Art critic. I can't take you seriously tbh
album 7/10
was not better than DAMN, this more of a family/fanbase album
You're gonna have to explain what makes this a family/fanbase album and not the one with LOVE, LOYALTY, and HUMBLE
Answer my question what’s the correlation to you between knowing theory and reviewing music

To me every time he mentions broke phone, I can never live my life on the computer, take off the wifi, take off the microwave memes, take off the fake woke, I’m not your savior
All these things are related to how he feels about cancel culture.
Cancel culture is just a mean spirited gossip internet culture. & a lot of failed artists talkin s***
there has to be SOME component to rating music that rests in an albums ability to be played back again and again and again. this album is FANTASTIC when you wanna really be in a bag about life, but the FW numbers reflect this is not something the wider majority audience will be listening to on a daily basis.
edit: and tbf im not sure that component necessarily should impact the "rating" of the music. i just think it can be acknowledged on the side,
I think it should count towards the rating because making something extremely repayable while having a potent message is a skill/talent, it doesn't have to be all the way one or the other necessarily
