When 808’s dropped nobody expected it to be as impactful as it is. The album was trashed when it dropped.

They’re two completely different artists and goats at what they do. That said, mr morale is incredible. Gets better with every listen and I won’t be playing anything else for a long time. That doesn’t take away from Drake’s greatness

Should’ve been higher, at least an 8.5. It’s a 9.5 or even a 10 in my book. I’d bet pitchfork bumped it down mainly because of his use of the f-word

I like Mr Morale but it wont shift the genre forward
Hopefully it makes more rappers strive for this level or self-discovery and introspection. If it encourages more artists and listeners to go to therapy that’s a huge W as well
