    It's dumb and I sometimes wonder if ktt secretly likes pitchfork because folks on here do s*** on it a lot but uhhhh when they give a favorable rating to and album from a well-liked artist, then...

    if they give an artist i like a good score, then pitchfork is valid. if they don't then they are a trash publication

    Maybe a hot take but I don't really respect going back and reviewing classic projects as a major publication. It's easy to give a classic a high score because you already are aware of its impact and reputation. If I want to see a reviewer give an opinion on a piece of work I want it in the moment, even if they get it wrong

    I could be wrong but i think i heard the scores are an average of multiple staff members which is why sometimes the review doesnt match the score

    Like an album w a 6 will have a positive review and an album w a 7 will have a negative one
