Stout turning him into all pro by year 3
Check this thread out for some Moro Ojomo PR as well
Pickett is so bad
From the sound of Vic's presser, unless if Cooper progresses quickly Q will be the starting nickel Week 1
However, if Cooper DOES progress fast enough I wouldn't be surprised if he is the starting nickel and Qinyon starts outside

Didnt vic say coop is still on pitch count
but yeah, i need to see Q x Slay or Ringo/Rodgers outside and Coop in the slot after the bye week
I dont have much faith in Slay this year, mans gonna turn 33 this year

Yup, but he also said Q ideally plays corner but they just need a nickel. Also really seems to like him, Vic doesn't really throw compliments around easily but he really praises Quinyon
Also, with Slay he seems like the type where if he thinks he don't got it anymore, he'll go up to the coaches himself and say the younger guys should play
Meh, wanted Metchie
Meh, wanted Metchie
Preferred Metchie as well, but I think the Texans see the value in him. His stock is gonna continue to rise. Have a feeling they’d prefer to move on from Noah Brown over Metchie. Dotson was close second for me.
I'm usually one who hates dropping edge rushers into coverage, but I spent enough time studying the Fangio scheme (the REAL one from the guy himself, not these bootleg versions we've been running) to understand WHY he drops his edges into coverage and what he's hoping to accomplish if done right. It honestly made perfect sense if executed correctly, and we saw a bit of it in the first preseason game. Idk if he's going to be a bit more vanilla tonight or show some more, but the logic is sound and does still find way to generate easy pressure.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, we are going to see a lot of it this upcoming season lol, don't be surprised but also give it a chance. With the other DCs we've had, it seemed like they did it just to do it. Fangio does it because he can 1) Confuse opposing passers and 2) Still generate pressure opposite of the edge rusher who dropped out
I HIGHLY recommend watching these videos to get some visuals of what I was talking about here

Patrick Johnson should make this team
Hes been ballin out in preseason and ive seen him make way more plays than Nolan
Horrible pick. It happens
The way Vic loves Jalyx, really hoping to see him get significant play time.
With Will Grier gone, the race to #13 is on. Dotson, Jalyx, and Dejean all options for it. Need Q to jump on 27
If Jalen Hurts can't do anything with this offense, he don't need to be the starting QB going forward. With that said, I'm not really worried about the O. It's this defense that gives me cause to pause.

Def gonna be some growing pains with the defense but im excited about what they can look like in dec/jan

Give it to Dotson, I honestly like Hunt in 58 and DeJean in 33
