It’s why the Niners and the Rams can lose 10,000 coordinators and still be straight, because the main guy is still the main guy through it all

With a defensive coach, yeah trying to find an OC would be tiresome but at least you could hang your hat on the defense at least being league average/competent

We have an offensive coach where BOTH sides of the ball stink. And the offense is top 5 talented at WORST

I completely agree. The only downfall I can see is the offense getting stagnant and defense’s keying in on the particular tendencies of that coach’s scheme. Need someone willing to evolve their scheme

That last sentence! THAT is what I have been begging for since we fired Chip!

Too many coaches are stuck in their ways and too stubborn to change. We see the successful ones adjust. Andy is an example of that. I think McDaniels will continue to be successful for that same reason. One thing about Nick is that he seems receptive to change, but this off-season still be the big test to see if he really is, pending his status with the team after the season at least.

  • rather just fire nick. unfortunately his scheme has given me no hope. and i've seen in a couple different programs where a coordinator has to work with the scheme/playbook given to him from the HC, and OCs cycle through with no change. yes he can overhaul it, but not sure it's worth the risk of ruining what you can call a "win now window"

there is also something to say about how a coach handles themselves when things get tough, and im not sure nick has handled himself well. too many empty words.

We don’t deserve good things šŸ˜’ wanting Gannon gone led us to Desai, wanting Desai gone led us to Patricia, I hate it here

Yeah. But that’s the whole team. BG and Jalen been saying the same bs in their pressers for 6 weeks and nothing changed.

I don’t hold anything that’s said in a presser against a player/coach tbh, that’s all just for us. I know what’s said behind closed doors is a lot more meaningful

If Nick gets fired he's 100% going to Washington

  • Jan 8, 2024

where does one even begin with the coaching carousel? I most certainly don't want anyone's retread ex-HC. i suppose the org needs to look at the "overachievers" and see what talent they have on their staffs.

Mark Davis cant help himself. He finna bust it open for Harbaugh.

Honestly don’t even wanna think about who we would hire until the playoffs are over. The last few weeks have been exhausting enough, adding potential HC’s, OC’s and DC’s to the whole thought process would wear me out.

but I will continue to throw Monken’s name out there

When you realize none of our coordinators will be tampered with like Gannon was since they're ass though

  • Jan 9, 2024

as i was going to sleep last night, i thought to myself.
The only thing I care to see in these playoffs, is jalen end the season on a high note. would be great for all parties, regardless of win or loss, for him to end his season with a stellar game.
