the emails show evidence of investigation and taking anything else from it is pure assumption

You can see bro's confirmation bias.

Lou: I think that covid was made in a lab

Fauci's Friends in January of 2020: We're doing some research on the original and we're not sure. It looks normal on a phylogenetic tree but we don't think that it lines up correctly with evolutionary theory. We'll be doing more research as time goes on

Fauci's Friends later in the year: Publish a study discrediting the lab leak theory

Lou: There are some redacted emails. They must have been right about the lab leak theory and as a result they're hiding it to cover up America's involvement

man I'm tired of this discourse

like even if it's confirmed to be a lab leak or whatever it doesn't change the fact that COVID is still here

same thing with flat earth conspiracies. it's like so what? you still here stuck on earth doing the same s*** you'd do everyday

It matters because Daszak, the guy getting NIH money to fund the research in Wuhan, is now appointed by WHO to cover its origins.

but yes you’re right. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s here and we should still be/should have been strong and cautious in our response to it

Those are all extremely small countries that barely had issues to begin with. New Zealand and Australia have always been very restrictive with travel compared to other countries like the European ones or America that see a ton of travel from and to.

It’s completely different situations. For a country like America that everyone is constantly flying to and back, things were going to be f***ed regardless.

China is the most populous country in the world?

the emails show evidence of coverup

It legit feels like everybody else is the conspiracy theorist on this one lmao, the evidence is legit just sitting out in the open and people choose to not question it

A novel bat virus suddenly appears, thousands of miles away from any known bat colony, but in the same exact spot as a lab that creates this specific virus where numerous employees were hospitalized weeks before the virus was publicly identified.

Actually befuddles me that people find this to be more outlandish

Not a little odd that Fauci, the NIH guy funding the Wuhan experiments, was contacted saying “hey doc this isn’t consistent with evolution” then Fauci hopping on a call with him and the contents of that call are fully redacted…? then a month later they’re all thanking each other for the paper published saying that “no, it actually is now”? why can’t we see those call notes? what was said?

They literally did an entire bout of research after sending that email

    This was published in March.

They sent Fauci that in January

They even mention they're going to do more research in the email

Are you some kind of mental dwarf?

Sorry but that stuff is literally proving my point. All that’s saying is that it’s possible but adds qualifiers that make it very unlikely. Your second screenshot says explicitly it still doesn’t look natural.

The NYMag article notes that it shares 96% of the genes from a 2013 bat coronavirus found in a cave which was collected by Dr. Shi Zhengli and sequenced in Wuhan. The 4% difference is mostly in that cleavage site and spike protein. Adding that ACE2 feature is the exact GoF research Ralph Baric was doing at UNC and consulted with Wuhan about

No its not? Are you illiterate?

    They quite literally state

Do you understand what the phrase "there are still further a***yses to be done, so those opinions could still change" means

The published work is literally the culmination of their study on the project. So the summation of their findings

And the first screenshot is literally from the published work you are vehemently arguing is a cover up

And they knew it was coming because it came from their lab

The virus was reported in late 2019, most countries didn't have their first cases until early 2020. They were just nonchalant about the whole thing, Trump was perpetuating a lax attitude towards the pandemic whenever he got the chance

  • Jun 17, 2021

The SAME DAY Fauci catches wind that it may not be natural he sends Ralph Baric’s bat coronavirus gain-of-function paper to his assistant saying “you have tasks today that must be done”

    On one side we have
Emails sent to Fauci in January about a research study they are actively conducting on the origins of the SARS-COV2

On the other side we have
An entire published study in an academic journal published in March

    KTT2 Poster Conclusion
The study is a cover up because some of the emails are redacted in an 800+ email dump that spans for over 3 thousand pages

And these emails were released via a FOIA request? Nice cover up if all it took was a Government order to blow the lid off the NIH and WHO. Both of whom are government entities that conspired to cover up a lab leak for a virus they apparently helped manufacture.

Why don't you guys just shut up and wait for an actual investigation into the Wuhan lab? Instead of freestyling dumb conspiracies 24/7/365.

there’s no research that can be done that suddenly makes something consistent with evolutionary theory. I don’t mean to assert authority but i have a degree in this s***. I’m gonna contact my molecular genetics and my genomics professor and see what they think

If you're still watching Rogan after the last year and half of conservative grift and lying than idk what to tell you. You're exactly the type of person to get tricked into believing something cause you watched a 9 minute video of a talking head. You literally have the same brain and critical thinking skills of boomers on facebook who fall into every conspiracy. Stop consuming conservative media, it's rotting your brain.

I implore everyone to read the NYMag article written by a long-time FOIA researcher. The idea of an accidental lab leak is wholly apolitical and in no way am I propagating anti-China rhetoric. The article was completely vindicated by the contents of Fauci’s leaked emails almost 6 months later

It’s long, but it’s worth it. Take the time nymag.com/intelligencer/amp/article/coronavirus-lab-escape-theory.html
