Oh nice that sounds like an interesting character dynamic. Reminds me a bit of Rocky Balboa vibes, that movie is pretty lowkey / introspective, and the real antagonist in it is time. To have a man losing his ego and masculinity, and seeing himself in a younger character, lot of potential there.

I’m writing a movie about this dude who loses his friend when the friend jumps in a black portal while tripping on unknown d****. And so it’s a drama about him and his girl’s unconventional relationship as he questions his sanity.

I’ll tell you his thoughts:

This film was shot so beautifully. Seriously this could be a contender for best PTA when it’s all said and done.

Both actors killed it and displayed a sense of chemistry I haven’t seen in years.

And of course Sean and Bradley’s roles where short but still sweet.

I was expecting to love this movie, but it’s missing something.

Nothing really happens in the movie,
I don’t really feel growth from the characters either.

Idk. Everything is beautiful. Cinematography, music, sound, set, casting, wardrobe, etc.

But the characters barely do anything or have any urgency.

It’s like nothing matters from one event to the next.
