This will be the first PTA movie I see in theaters and considering coming of age resonates with me the most i think it’s perfect

For sure! I quickly bought the Downey Sr. Criterion Eclipse box set because of him. PTA kicked off my mild obsession with Altman, Demme, Ophuls and more!

My first 1st viewing of a PTA movie in theaters too

Did see PT but that was my 2nd watch

Nobody talkin about Ophuls enough Letter From An Unknown Woman one of the few perfect films

There Will Be Blood for me and it was life changing

Had already seen Boogie Nights and PDL but he didn't have near that stature he has now so we just thought it was gonna be a cool movie
