Directors like PTA and Malick love them too and no ones stopping you from watching art house movies just cause MCU exists I dont understand these people. Imma be feasting with spiderman and soggy bottomI personally don’t dislike comic book movies I actually like them but my problem is the saturation and how studios are putting more of an emphasis on them versus other movies. And I don’t blame them because audiences aren’t going to original screenplays but at the same time you get fatigued with all these big budget tentpole superhero movies.

He didn't say explicitly that he wasn't doing it, but he said explicitly that he's working with Jane Campion and Pablo Larrain right now.

That whole article on his supposed quote when the guy rarely ever does interviews sounds entirely ironic or manufactured to me.
