Lmao sorry for mistakenly saying “friend” instead of “sister”…..but back to the more important topic, that ol girl a Pedo
I see you not going to acknowledge my Tarantino post because you liked Hollywood
hypocrisy
I'm just in Canada but we don't put the tiddy on a pedestal like that
Don't see what underage has to do with it
I know how y'all get down in Kentucky and Mississippi and s*** don't act like all America is up to date with your standards
Eww I’m black I stay away from Mississippi. Them racist f***in they underage nieces down there

What you say? Tag me

Well then we can agree to agree
Well then we can agree to agree
We agree on everything lmao you just tryna protect that PTA stan card. It’s good fam. It’s protected.
Weird cause you literally can't even talk about rock and roll artists from back in the day anymore without some white knight being like "PEDOPHILE"
(just look at the Neil Young versus Joe Rogan thread, and Neil who's never had one accusation)
and yet twitch buys this greasy hollywood wife killer as a paragon of political correctness in the late sixties from Quentin of all people who even an armchair psychologist can tell has issues for days
Lmao wait this comment?
Cus I said Brad turned down underage p****?

I'm nearly as big a Wes Anderson stan and I had no problem s***ting on French Dispatch and I've been watching Tarantino for longer than any of you and have been s***ting all over Hollywood so i really don't think that's what it is fam. Polanski and many other like that. Just because I have an avi from master doesn't mean I defend all of his movies to the death.
I'm a geezer so I come from a whole other generation of political correctness standards so that could be it too
Lmao wait this comment?
Cus I said Brad turned down underage p****?
Yeah you're clearly cherry-picking which incidents you want to find believable and kosher and which ones you don't as far as period pieces from sketchier days
I probably do too we all have different life experiences

I mean I was half way joking but where did I lie? Did Brad not turn down underage p**** in the movie? Even tho his actions with the girl still had questionable moments (like letting her lay on his lap and holding her hand and saying yes we love p****)

I honestly don’t know what point you’re making. I’m strictly speaking on what both movies SHOWCASED.
LP showcased underage romance. Hollywood didn’t besides the questionable moments I mentioned by Brad.
Not sure how saying that is hypocritical

There are levels going on there and it felt like Qt was trying to cover his tracks after letting his patron Weinstein run amok for decades
Also if this is how you feel about PTA after LP then I wonder what you think of all the incidents of QT being very creepy toward his women cast members

That he’s a creep? We’ve all had conversations on QT’s creepy incidents and racist remarks. And even how I was ready to fight dude one time lmao.
But what does any of that have to do with my critique on THIS movie? I’ve said I’m a huge fan of PTA but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna call him out for tryna make this subject matter a cute rom com

I can't remember exactly how grossed out you were by QT but it's weird that you still like Hollywood even though there's literal masturbatory scenes of young girls feet sprawled across windshields and s***
you know goddamn well why those scene are there
I just find it way grosser to see a director convey his weird fetishes in his films then I do for one to depict a story of questionable morals
I just don’t feel as bad about the gap between the 2 main characters as the one between the girl and sean penn. or with her boss that harasses her at the beginning. I trust that she’s safer with him than anyone else.
I also don’t feel like she’s emotionally mature enough to manipulate him in any predatory way. Her father treats her like a 15 yo and she still acts like one a lot of the time.
and ultimately I think it’s cool that they seem to connect over pretending to be older. it creates a cool push pull in the story. they have a unique respect for eachother.
I get the controversy, but I don’t think it’s trying to normalize pedophilia ultimately. Especially by placing it in the 60s (70s?), it just feels like it’s using the norms of the era to tell a story that couldn’t be told in any other

I mean you're comparing one scene of one chicks feet (which I did say is a questionable moment due to the character being 17) to an entire film being about a 25 year old falling for a 15 year old.
I loved Hollywood because it's the story of a broken actor who's on his way out and I like how he re-wrote history with the Sharon Tate story.
Yeah QT is a creep, but how is a nigga loving feet grosser than PTA displaying illegal love? and on top of that defended the movie by saying "there isn't a provocative bone in the film"

It just is imo (maybe cause I know Paul has a family with fine ass Maya and QT is a creepy loner)
What else you been watching

So you prefer seeing the 25 year old character get with a 15 year old, which is illegal and literally pedophillia, rather than Sean Penn (who's character was what maybe 50?) which is legal?

I honestly don't know if you trolling rn or maybe I'm mis-reading what you saying. But are you deadass telling me having a foot fetish is grosser than pedophilia?

Dude you make this really hard by not acknowledging what I've already said
Quentin has a foot fetish and uses his position in Hollywood to get girls and women to allow him to take masturbatory feet shots for decades now. Do you really think Salma wanted to say yes to Dusk Before Damn toe suck scene? F***in doubt it
Then you have Paul that merely showed a story about a couple idiots that have weird feeling for eachother which in my opinion does not condone pedophilia at all. Nothing about Paul's films has ever conveyed the psyche of a creepy dude in my opinion.
This is not saying that a foot fetish is grosser than pedophilia because that's not what Paul is conveying. I know you disagree and that's fine let's call it a day on this debate
day 2
I dunno how y’all can talk about this for so long tho ngl
