How comedy is this? I always thought PTA’s best movies were the ones where he didn’t try to be funny
Might be his funniest yet
I was getting ready to head out and felt the need to check Fandango and come to find out my tickets were refunded smh. I think it’s because I accessed the 70mm screening on the film’s site and was able to get through to a Wednesday screening.
Edit: looks like the 7pm screening at Cinemark got cancelled. Check your tickets

Ayyy Dallas gang. Exact same thing happened to me. They just added two digital IMAX showtimes at the same times though. Sucks it's not 70mm but I'm going to go see it tonight regardless because I can't wait. I'll catch it in 70mm some other time this week.

Yessir Dallas. I have family over the next couple of days so I can’t watch until Tuesday the earliest now
. I think I’ll go IMAX since it’s a shorter trip to the theater
i just don't understand how u can say peak PTA in 2025
That's like
peaks on peaks
how can he do it
I guess i'll see
Let me see if I can find some tickets for tomorrow
@RVI
I'll be honest I didn't even know it was a Paul Thomas Anderson movie when I saw the casting call
I could've been Latino man 1
uuuuh
dammit
I think the hype was a bit much
when compared to the rest of his filmography
for my taste
I prefer the more focused character studies to the episodic pacing
but i just got out, need to sit on it
felt pretty Tarantino
Kinetic
feels like Sean Penn has more screen time than Leo
Still really good! and funny!
don't know that the father daughter dynamic was quite enough to hang the emotion on
don't know why people compared the chase scene to Fury Road
more stylish and cool than anything that'll get your blood pumping
Greenwood has better scores
Might end up being 4.5 stars and placing towards the bottom of my ranking when all is said and done, which is still a testament to the goat
