some new names for supporting roles, but it might get delayed due to the strike
Sorry but isn’t PTA supposed to be a writer director? Why tf would this be affected by a writer’s strike

Because he's probably a card carrying writers union member
I’m told that Anderson’s mysterious next movie, rumored to star Joaquin Phoenix, Viggo Mortensen, and Regina Hall, has been set up at Warner Bros. Zaslav probably wants to keep that emerging deal in place, lest he repeat the mistakes of former WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar, who alienated Christopher Nolan with the 2021 day-and-date release strategy as the director fled his longtime studio home and set up “Oppenheimer” at Universal instead.
Vineland is a beautiful story, just finished it
Similar vibe to Inherent Vice, but its just so lovely, I'd love to see an adaptation

You able to give an updated summary of the story now?

I mean, not really, cause it's truly like a vibey hangout plot, with a bunch of flashbacks and odd tangents. There's no protagonist, it's an ensemble piece. I guess there's this deadbeat mom in witness protection who's the focal point, and everyone is trying to find her for various reasons. It's about family. It's about the war on d**** in the 80s. It's about how television programming effected culture. It's about rebellion. Or the death of it. It's essentially a spiritual sequel to Inherent Vice, yet a little more loose. It's gonna be a bunch of fun scenes tho.

Nice nice! I’m contemplating buying the book. Think it’ll make for a compelling film by PTA?
Is this the jazz movie or what’s this about
Allegedly an adaptation of the book Vineland by the same author who did inherent vice
