this is easily the best best picture since Moonlight though and 6 wins including screenplay for a Pynchon adaptation is so sick. well deserved

ever since this was announced I was looking forward to this as an increasingly rare actually ambitious and interesting big budget experiment, that it not only delivered so successfully but is also being recognized for it rly is such a big W for art in Hollywood

while I'm not going to get my hopes up too much this is a really important symbolic win tbh and hopefully leads to more of these types of projects being greenlit again.

Kinda hard to describe.

I could tell you it's about a father trying to protect his daughter after his revolutionary past catches up with him, but that doesn't really do it justice. The movie is great because of it's execution and performances, not so much it's story.

I'd say you'd be good to jump in blind, or watch a trailer if you really need to.
