humeyhe’s built different tbh, also his roles always somewhat marginal I don’t remember the last time Nicholson showed vitality on screen….than again I never really peeped the old guy buddy movies he did with Morgan Freeman
Bucket List was ok iirc but he was definitely plenty vital in Departed. I guess I can't really think of any characters Paul has written since then that Jack would fit but as a major actors-director I know he thought about it. Jacks the goat.
