Is anyone here a parent?
I'm curious how a parent's opinion is different than a non-parents
@RVI What did you think about how the movie uses politics?

been on a little PTA binge this weekend. the only film of his I’ve watched in full was Licorice Pizza prior to OBAA. I’ve now watched Phantom Thread and man.. that was an all timer
Top 2
Man if his next movie is the little harlem jazz one with denzel
game over
Three new great new OBAA interviews with lots of tidbids

damn might go watch it again tonight
benicio / sensei the real MVP imo
he was already a perfect sidekick buddy in IV and somehow at least as good here. love that PTA just decided every good Pynchon story needs a Benicio
Finally caught this in 70mm IMAX after the projector was broken the first time I tried. What an experience
Just watched Hard Eight and gonna watch OBAA again tomorrow. This guy is such a masterclass director. HE is much slower, but he’s always had a wit about him that’s always enjoyable.
Enjoyed myself quite a bit but question how this will hold up on rewatches. I will not be mad at anyone who reappraises this and says it’s not good
Sean Penn was amazing, one of the best roles I’ve seen him in
