Favorite movie of the year by far
Rallied like 10-12 people to see this w me tn
I’m actually goated
8 came. They loved it
Bob literally failed every objective in this movie it’s hilarious
Could barely charge a phone
The movie is extremely impactful on the second go round. This is on the next level to me now.
I loved it so much, it made me immediately want to watch again which is crazy for a 3 hour epic that had a lot of intense sequences. Need Oscar noms for teyana and leo and Regina and sean
Now that I got a taste of fresh pta I wanna just selfishly gorge on his whole filmography all night like a freak, been a while since I rewatched twbb, magnolia, etc

Nothing for chase? Damn
The dudes that do dead end hiphop also have a movie / TV podcast… they covered this and they called Chase Infinite, “Infinite Jones” the entire episode
movie went a bit flat for me after leo gets arrested felt like there were a lot of cool ideas that ended up going nowhere, would’ve preferred more depth, less breadth

Chase Infiniti
Rewatching Licorice Pizza, Sean Penn is seriously good, he pretty much steals that movie too
Francis Ford Coppola on how he watched OBAA but couldn't hear s*** cuz of his hearing issues
https://twitter.com/TheFilmStage/status/1973164229311209576bro should've went to an open caption viewing
this is the death of film criticism imo
When the DNA test matches and Sean penn says “UH OH” I was laughing my ass off but was also terrified for that girl
Penn had me laughing hard with this movie
A tricky thing I’ve had with this movie is that it’s a movie about blackness and black women written unashamedly from a white mans perspective. I appreciate he doesn’t shy away or cop out of the ugliness of racism and also doesn’t luxuriate in it like Tarantino. But there is a trickiness there. I’m not sure if there were aspects written with others to massage his lack of cultural awareness but I have to say there is specificity to the Sensei Sergio set piece at the Latino Harriet Tubman spot that we know was conceived with Benecio. I feel there is nothing of that level granted to Black folx in the film to the point it feels like Anderson « understands ».
This isn’t a huge criticism but something I keep ping ponging on. I really think we are one meaningful Regina hall scene away from being an all-timer. Also sad Barksdale wasn’t in the movie long.
It's a movie about race, not just blackness bro
"black people should be written this way by that person or else its tricky"
Mind you, these niggas didn't even support black art with HIM
There is one 5.5 hours from me but I don’t want to make that trip
just go to Dolby
Man rewatch hit so hard, especially the first act. This is a classic
Stop moving
