Watched in on the IMAX last night. Probably about 10 people in the theatre sadly. Movie was good but not amazing. I did really enjoy it and the runtime didn’t feel too long even though it was almost 3 hours long. Di Caprio and Sean Penn were amazing in the movie, most of the cast was, I just thought the movie itself was really overrated. Best scene was Leo arguing on the phone. I was expecting movie of the year but it’s not for me, that goes to F1. That movie was BUILT for IMAX.
Well I hate conservatives, so thats pretty cool. Theyre kinda f***ing up the entire world right now, so hating them is valid.
Rather it satirizes in both ways hence the Downey-esque humor
It was me and like 4 other people hard to gauge but there were 4 or 5 shared laughs then me laughing on my own like 5 more times like I was the joker
Lmao
The girl next to me was practically having an anxiety attack during the raid on Sensei's house, and tbh, the soundtrack did make it unbearably tense.
Can’t see it today
he walks like cotton from king of the hill
went to my rewatch with that Lockjaw final scene as my biggest issue and came out of it with an even bigger one: Willa
she really is just a device more than a character, she barely even has a personality othen than just being angry at getting kidnapped. The only part in which she actually seems more than an AI written character is when she trolls Lockjaw (which is also a nice wink to the novel); all her other "interventions" are literally nothing of substance, this is perfectly showcased during the post-climax/final scenes of the movie in which she only has 2 lines total.

Loudest film I've ever seen on imax it was bordering on unwatchable
Maybe they f***ed up the settings in my theater but it was excruciating at times
Dunkirk in IMAX was louder
Planes and all the gun shots especially at the start were crazy
