I think the funniest moment might actually be Sergio being like, "He got you on one password? I hate f***ing nitpickers, man." Just something about him being sympathetic to Bob in that moment...
Everything about his character was to relieve tension in high tension situations and getting people to stay calm, panic only makes things worse

Sensei only got mad one time all movie
A chore to read.
Y’all, is the movie good or bad?
Now this is the kind of picture that deserves the big screen. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this exhilarated watching a movie. The way PTA frames his shots is just

the way he framed the car chase scene man…

Yes! So good. The ost was also pretty much perfect in carrying the tension.
How was yall's audience? Like, I get that DiCaprio’s role leaned into comedy at times, but after a certain point it felt like people were laughing at every single thing he did

Between his hippie rant in once upon a time and the phone scene here man I enjoy watching leo curse people tf out lmao
Can’t wait until he reaches his old man Nicholson/ford era and just gets casted to tell people to go f*** themselves 😂
Instant classic

when he's whispering threats to his daughters friend in this
so what year does this movie take place in because when teyana got arrested and she was getting rolled in the wheelchair, the cops had like iphone 15 pros
i think its intentionally undefined. You won't find much from details
The movie opened up with a shot of the border wall, something that only came about in the late 2010s. Could be that the first part took place in near-modern era and the rest in the future but again i don't think thats clear
Lol Leo ain’t save nobody all movie. Bro couldn’t remember a password. Couldn’t hit a target with a rifle. Couldn’t keep himself from getting arrested. Couldn’t save his daughter.

Yeah the "they/them" quip Leo makes seems to imply that's definitely more modern times but then he says he was born somewhere around the 80s and in the flashback scenes they even reference something more modern lol so I think you're right about it being intentionally undefined

Empty. Some older people walked out.
I love the fact that at the first C***meeting the head guys daughter is getting married, assuming to a white man which he is proud of, but Lockjaw has to go on a mission to kill his own daughter due to an interracial relation
"Assuming" lol
Imagine being the head of a white supremacist group focused on racial purification but your child marries an Asian guy
I’m sorry to say but this is getting extremely over hyped. 3.75/5
You're welcome to your opinion certainly

felt like safdies and coen bros in a blender but somehow felt like something ive never seen before
idk if this is a hot or cold take but PTA the best american director of the 21st century tbh
Frigid cold take

How is it undefined? Seemed pretty obvious to me that the French 75 were active during the 2000s and the modern part of the film takes place in the 2020s
The cars and surroundings make it pretty obvious too
