Amazing song that brought the beef to an end because anything more would've been bullying Kendrick

Both of them lied but Kenny's lies seemed a lot more believable because he mixed in truths

Drake really had nothing so it was all lies and most of it got debunked

He could have moved past this so easily like the Pusha T thing but here we are

Drake is not a name that you gonna see on no s***offender list

you reminded me actually... correction* truly bad lines to me are
    f***in young girls
    epstein
    mbb

s***offender list i understand as an attempt to outright clarify no this isn't true, he tries adding the eazy-duz it to make it a diss but it's paired with those other ones and by then it's like yeah we get it.

but yeah those 4 are terrible in isolation and to the casuals the beef is interpreted by certain lines in ISOLATION! made no sense to me to include

Big facts. I hate that it was Kendrick of all rappers who was on the other side of this

Drake’s lies weren’t even spicy. Casual fans don’t know or care about “Dave free”

Dawg cmon. Those two lines became a meme they were so corny.

after the beef anything Drake was a meme bro.. he's had these "i'm taking myself serious rn" lines like that in other songs that were hits - I understand it as a personal complaint against him, people say they don't like tough drake all the time, but again I don't think they're BAD lines!

  • Jul 21, 2025

Positively abysmal song. Terrible beat, some laughably bad bars, delivery sounds so defeated. I understand he had to drop something because he couldn’t let NLU be the last word but I’m astounded he couldn’t come up with something better than this

I think the weirdest line of this whole beef was "Always rapping like you 'bout to get the slaves freed" like, so what's the joke here, " look at this guy, rapping about serious topics. Why doesn't he rap about arguing with his girl at Cheesecake Factory like I do?"

Shout out to that line tho I'm pretty sure it got us the Pop Out on Juneteenth which was one of the greatest concerts if not the greatest concert I've ever been to

American slavery and black struggle isn’t necessarily as readily empathized in other parts of the world by other black people especially those he has said are above the American rap culture

lool I just really really think some people unfairly point out specific lines that make perfect sense from Drake. There's like a difference between the "I don't like Drake" lines that Drake haters would NEVER like from any Drake song and the straight up bad lines.

He handled the whole thing wrong tactically but people act like he wrote every line wrong!

One of the funniest songs ever made

  • Jul 21, 2025

I actually thought the song sounds fire but what he’s actually saying is so cringey. Looking at IG follows like a teenager. F***ing up the whole Mother I Sober storyline exemplifying the problem his detractors have with as an artist for how he doesn't have the attention span or depth to mentally process a song that isn’t just a bunch of IG caption bars back to back. Talking about how was too famous to be a pedophile during a time where celebrities get accused of that left and right.

I liked the beat and flow though.

the joke was in the next line "acting like an activist" ... not saying he's right, but the attempted angle is that it's a aesthetic that Kendrick panders with.... the angle isn't Drake saying oh sing about Hotline Bling

still kind of a weird angle, especially coming from a damn near 40 year old man who has to pander to Adin Ross and others in that realm.
