Damn
Nicolas Cage is a 🐐
But nothing about this performance is scary
He’s like a Batman villain

Honestly would’ve been surprsied if you enjoyed it since our opinions tend to differ so much (aside from classic matrix 4) but I respect it cause you’re one of the few that explains why you feel that way

That’s real

That’s love
I don’t understand why people love this. Who knows, it could be the case that I missed something.
Imma check out what people have to say. I don’t really know what I was meant to take away from it. I would have loved to see this Cage performance in a film like Barbarian. It just feels out of place in this film, I couldn’t take it seriously.
Debating on taking an edible before seeing this tonight
Is that wise or is this gonna f*** me up?
that scene where her mom is behind the car
My audience all let out a gasp lol
Saw this last night and it was great. It’ll disappoint a lot of viewers expecting to be scared s***less because of the marketing making it out to be the scariest movie of the decade. Although it doesn’t manage to fully hit the mark as a horror film, it totally excels as a thriller. The audience is in for a riveting ride from the very first frame to the last thanks to the tight plot, amazing casting, sharp cinematography, and a score so flawless that it single-handedly accentuates the few horror elements that are present. The fact that it managed to live up to the hype, despite being lower on the scare scale than I would’ve liked, is a testament to how masterfully crafted it is. 8/10

nah you’ll be real uncomfortable
Ok, after letting it sit for the night, it definitely got the job done. I live alone and I didn’t feel safe sleeping at night without saying multiple prayers. I didn’t even feel comfortable closing my eyes when I took a shower this morning. I’m sorry Oz Perkins, I wasn’t familiar with your game
yeah, you walk out the theater like “wasn’t even that scary” but I honestly didn’t sleep well last night. it sticks with you.

Someone here said they couldn’t breathe when he was on the screen
Someone here said they couldn’t breathe when he was on the screen
That’s insane to me
I feel like I was watching an entirely different movie
This was so reminiscent of the Ligotti short story The Frolic, it felt like that expanded into a full feature. Loses some steam at the end but it lived up to my expectations craft-wise. Cage was almost my least favorite aspect! Maika Monroe was astoundingly good
so is this movie slow in a boring way?
Slow in a having a paranoid high n waiting for it to end
Felt like the awakening of a repressed memory that just keeps getting worse and worse
Definitely took my fav aspects of The Blackcoat’s Daughter and found ways to re-do them inventively
havent decided if I am going to go late night after work or wait to see with friends they had to reschedule
Felt like the awakening of a repressed memory that just keeps getting worse and worse
I still can't get the image out of my head of seeing the pain in Agent Carter and his wife's eyes knowing that they are no longer in control of what is going on at the end. Unsettling stuff.
Yeah this was one of them ones...
WE ARE BACK

We came a long way from maxxxine weekend to this W
