Also does anyone remember that user on KTT1 with that same Lou Reed avatar as the poster who used to really worship Satan?
Anora trailer before too, we won
Was my First time hearing or seeing anything about that film . I’m invested
Important spoilers below
I do feel like there was a connection with Longlegs and the main character. They both had super heavy breathing, when she came out of the basement she was walking like him and her shadow was him. And she came out of the basement. Also, after Lee passes out and starts to drive to the house to stop her mom, she drives the car like Longlegs was driving earlier and yells like him. She's also driving the same car
I wanna do this but I don't wanna fall asleep in the theater, the pack been whooping my ass into a slumber lately
just got out . DONT DO THIS
was not bad but…wasn’t groundbreaking either…kinda disappointed
I wish those idiots who said "scariest movie in a decade" hadnt said that. The movie is disturbing. It's unnerving. It's evil. It's not some jumpscare fest with monsters etc lmao
Yeah this was pretty great. I think the hype around it did set me up to be a bit disappointed- I was expecting something a bit different. But it was certainly disturbing and unsettling af. And Cage was the most off putting thing I’ve seen in a while. Man should be put on a list for this role
I loved it but like....whattttt?
Mainstream audiences not ready for this at all
Am I gonna piss myself :ariscared:

yeah i seen a dude in a full denim tears sweatsuit walk out at the beginning of part 2 lol
I’d say comfortably the movie matches the tone of the first batch of teasers as well as the first official trailer. As far as the marketing goes, it’s best not to go into this expecting the scariest movie of all time. But that’s not without saying it’s extremely unnerving and a very disturbing film. The few jump-scares there in the film are built up with tension but a majority of it is seeing this awful set of events through the lense of the main character. The horror lays in the subject of the film. Also like Oz’ other works, it’s a slow burn but in the best way possible. Can’t really say there were moments that didn’t add to the dread or storyline.
Still thinking on it. I definitely feel that the movie would’ve benefited from more subtlety in the third act.
characters literally saying HAIL SATAN multiple times really started to take me out. having the devil actually show up on camera was more restrained than those lines…
"She was a nurse. Her new job was killing families" made me and the woman sitting next to me laugh out loud in the theater. Such a bad, bad piece of dialogue.
I had a great time.

Did you go to one in Georgia by chance ?
Did you go to one in Georgia by chance ?
No, Los Angeles
I feel like most Nic Cage movies end up with rowdier crowds. They come in expecting memeworthy performances and get wasted beforehand. When I saw Mandy at an outdoor showing it was pretty chaotic.
