Like I said, if you are genuinely interested in the truth give it a read.
The TLDR is that MJ fought from August to Jan 94 to get the criminal trial to precede the civil trial.
MJ refused to pay before it went public.
MJ paid 15.3m after he couldn't get the criminal trial to precede the ciivl trial - this is now law and why MJ went to court in 2005.
Chandler's co-operated for months after the settlement.
