Nas wasn't as big as kendrick but still back then being top dog was a lot harder cause you had to have the streets
But that’s not the era we’re in now. We are in the post Kanye era. Post South Uprising era. And I’m pretty sure back then everyone moved units. Even joe Budden did numbers lmao
Back then everyone had bars. Very few blowing up nowadays do. And those that do reach a popularity cap that is lower than before.
I’m saying have them make the same music they made back then but do it now post Kanye, post drake and they are Ab-Soul level of successful at best. The landscape is different.
