Ok. Let me spit you some game. Jay absolutely got as much hate as Drake. Jay was criticized for chasing trends, riding waves, being too old and still trying to fit in, and dumbing down his lyrics. His OGs even mention how he dumbed down his lyrics. Let's also not forget the fact that he lost to Nas which is still arguably the biggest L in hip-hop for two top tier rappers.
