Y'all got Frances McDormand winning again?
Think Carey is the frontrunner, but don't think she's close to a lock
not a single nom for spike or da 5….?
Is minari good?
Mank doesn’t look like a psychological thriller, which is what i like from Fincher
Never heard of that phrase before, makes more sense then

I personally loved it (Minari) but few on here didn’t like it as much
Steven, Chadwick, Riz, beautiful
Such great nominations. Just wish they added Lakeith in there

It's nice but I don't think it's anything special.
Always funny when people say who should win as if they’ve seen all the nominated performances and s***
I agree with this. That’s why I don’t weigh in if I haven’t seen a particular film. Like best supporting actress I didn’t pick since I haven’t seen Borat 2
Nigga been eating ever since he died in Nightcrawler
Only one I haven't seen in the big categories is Hillbilly Elegy, I doubt Glenn Close would be my pick anyways. I would vote Chadwick, Kaluuya, Vanessa Kirby, and Yuh-Jung Youn.
ludwig got snubbed hardcore, tenets one of my most listened to soundtracks ever
glad for my boy riz, still need to see minari tho
This my picks based off personal favorites not necessarily who I think will win:
Best Picture: Judas and the black messiah
This category is really strong IMO. Only one I haven’t seen is The Father but heard it’s really great. Mank is meh and the only one I don’t care for. Absolutely loved Minari, PYW and Sound of metal and wouldn’t be mad if any of em won. But I think Nomadland is the obvious winner, I liked the film but it’s not my favorite in this list. Really enjoyed Chicago 7 too.
Best Director: Emerald Fennell
Really wish Regina King was nominated.
Best lead actor: Chadwick Boseman
Another strong category cus Riz and Steve was absolutely amazing too.
Best lead Actress: Carey Mulligan
This one is hard cus Viola did amazing too.
Supporting Actor: Lakeith
Give that s*** to Lakeith bruh. This nigga glow up so impressive.
Supporting Actress: honestly don’t know
Best original screenplay: Chicago 7....Aaron Sorkin is a world class writer
Feel like there are a lot of missed opportunities here, probably because Borat got so many noms. Almost feels like the Globes at times. The documentary feature category is a huge swing and a miss like always, especially when half the movies that dropped last year were docs and there were so many good ones.
I'm glad that Sound of Metal got so much love, that's a great movie.
