ANTII would normally agree but a full shutout is still surprising. EP and SV both bare a reputation for being “American-adjacent” non-English films, largely a reason why EP fared pretty well at SAG last year.
Nobody expected all four nominations, or for it to get ensemble, but nothing could be something.
Edit: Minari is a good recent example of this as well.
