    It's annoying but it really only has an effect on the awards races which should obviously be viewed separately from the art itself

    While I enjoy thinking and talking about this stuff I also acknowledge that it's completely meaningless and has no bearing on my own opinions whatsoever

    But I definitely think the best art should be rewarded.

    You’re getting dangerously close to just saying u don’t think Conan O'Brien is funny

    I like Conan and think he's generally pretty funny. His first year hosting was very good, last night less so but still not bad

    I can go see Conan being funny literally whenever I want to though. I will probably never get an opportunity to hear the man who worked on Golden say what he had to say about his work on the song because his mic was cut off during his first sentence

    Surely some ppl were like get ricky gervais or Amy poehler off my screen

    You can’t please everyone with any comedian. But conceptually I think if u want to remove a comedians role in the show, u are off base as to what makes an award show memorable and enjoyable

    I know you're right I'm just really trying to imagine in my head the type of viewer that watches a 3 and a half hour award show for the comedy bits in between awards

    They unserious especially in this social media age people just watch the key funny parts they enjoy they not watching the whole thing for the jokes . I am not saying make no jokes I am saying there shouldn’t be jokes that are much longer than acceptance speeches yet they cut the mic of someone they handing an award . The Oscars are the point of the f***ing show

    Game awards gets more viewers than all the past few Oscar’s combined and I hate the jokes there too . People there are there for new game announcements. Give us new movie trailer premieres instead of goofy s*** .
