You'll see when you catch up to Egghead but honestly the quality has been top notch most of the time with some insane peaks esp considering this is a weekly

If you watch the YouTube link I posted they even mention that the episodes have been movie quality lately so I think that's a big reason for the break - to give the animators a break and allow for the ability to keep up that level of quality, so I'd say you're right there

I'd assume pacing will stay about the same which is about a chapter per episode. I'd prefer more but honestly the anime is adapting and adding to Egghead so well that as long as the quality keeps up imo that's not a problem at all.

Fishman Island from 58 episodes to 21

a 6 month break is crazy. super excited to see what they're able to do with this. a change in time slot is also interesting cause if it's later at night that might mean they're looking to make it a bit more violent

the fishman island re-edit is cool. not my favorite arc but i'm down to rewatch it. would've preferred dressrosa getting this treatment though but fishman island was probably chosen cause it fit the break window

Since they're required to fill the remaining broadcast slots they've paid for, they've come up with the idea to celebrate the 25th anniversary in chronological order. The fan letter special takes place during the return to Sabaody and we’ll get FMI remaster after that
