i think it's just a gag tbh, chopper's age also changes after he uses monster point but he turns into a baby. if we assume chopper is also awakened then it may be a side effect of the prolonged use of an awakened zoan form. at the same time though, chopper was only able to extend his time in monster point through a rumble ball that caesar helped him with and it's not a new form, so he may not be awakened. that's why i'm leaning towards a gag

Seems to me that Oda is planning a Seraphim to defy an order and maybe pursue their own goals. Arc starting with Lilith commenting on how the mecha shark wasn’t following orders cuz it’s hard to override the instincts and Hancock blushing in this chapter.
