I don’t like the way Oda went about healing Zoro. You got like 3 of the beat doctors right there, literally just make some s*** up with them and it’d be better than the magic medicine.
The part about the pain being doubled when it wears off was the important part imo, seems like he'll be out of commission for awhile
East Blue isn’t an arc it’s a Saga for one. And it’s nostalgia heavy the only reason you’re saying this.
The only arc in the East Blue worth comparing to the others from the grand line is Arlong Park. Syrup Village is one of the worst arcs in OP, easily.
I admit to have nostalgia bias. But regardless these arcs are the most fun and the reason I fell in love with the characters in the first place. Why you s***ting on a opinion weirdo?

Because it’s a terrible opinion.

I guess, but isn’t all of east blue less eps than some of the other arcs?
And nah, nostalgia isn’t why i like these arcs, it’s because these arcs make me feel like i’m on an adventure
I think the reason why some of the fanbase prefers pre ts and the other half prefers post ts is because the show is no longer made for people like me.

If it makes a difference then yea, but if he just experiences extra pain after everything is over then idk if that drawback makes a difference.

The East Blue is the least adventurous of all of OP. I’m confused by your reasoning…
Pre-TS grand line stuff was more adventurous in a sense because they were following the log pose. Post TS has for the most part all been predetermined destinations but there’s still so much discovered that idk if the adventure feel really left even without it being random islands along the way.
I don’t think there’s a different really in the two like you’re making it seem though. The only thing glaring about pre vs post is the scale and the strength of the enemies which unfortunately meant less screen time for half of the SH’s each arc. That’s my only complaint the constant splitting of the crew, I’m glad they’re back together now though and hope there’s no split after Wano at all.
WCI and Wano both are top5 arc
Wci is good but cmon top 5?!
That mess of an ending ruined it a lil bit tbh. Up until and including the tea party was great, but after that it went downhill. That whole dragging as hell cake chasing scene sucked ass
Also so many people saying wano best arc is still wild to me. Like the arc isn't even finished and it's already the best in the Whole SERIES? LMAO
Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying it, but depending on how it goes it could go from top 3 to mediocre. There's still something missing that arc that euqals the greatnes from such arcs like water7/eniess lobby or marineford imo

the world building went to s*** too man wtf is that whole cake pirate ship. The concepts he came up with are childish, annoying and completely over the top. As I said if you like it alright it´s not for me. Also we gotta stop hyping the One Piece politics up man this sit isnt that deep at all.
East Blue
Nigga with Syrup Village and the Buggy Arc? That’s in your top 2?
LMAOOO

Of course I’m speaking about for now . I haven’t felt like this with one piece in a long time so so far it’s ticking all my boxes
The politics in pre time skip was legit all build up to some of the crazy pay off and reveals we seeing now 😂. That nostalgia pack is hitting
Plus we had mermaids, giants and islands like sabaody and thriller bark (a f***ing ship) . Niggas had devil fruits with mini men coming out they body and a fortune teller but now it’s over the top

Politics were never that deep. One Piece fanbase always was on some weirdo s*** with that. Also over the top in a sense that suddenly making a samurai arc and time travel is definitely more over the top than f***ing mermaids and giants in a pirate story. Oda ran out of ideas you can tell.

So thriller bark can exist but we drawing the line at wano ? Like one piece hasn’t had Swordsmen this whole time and had this place hinted at since pre time skip (which negates you saying he ran out of ideas). If anything wano is one of the places that makes the most sense . Makes way more sense than a water filled city with a sea train and many other places pre time skip. And time traveling ?
The show has a whole plot thread about history literally being wiped from the world but time traveling is a reach ?
No way he just told me mermaids and giants existing makes more sense than a place like wano

Boy you off your rocker.
The world building post-ts has continuously built on droplets left behind from pre-ts what are you talking about? Fishman Island arc as a whole is mid, but the world building and story telling in the flashbacks in itself is top tier. A flashback hundreds of chapters later made Arlong an even better villain in retrospect. How is that bad world building?
Dressrosa’s themes and as an arc in the manga one of the best in the story.
WCI was a Sanji character arc with tremendous moments throughout. And even now in Wano the moments from WCI are paying off for Sanji on all fronts. In his trust in the crew and his trust in Luffy.
Wano not even finished but Kaido as an antagonist is looking to be one of the beat in the story, the subtitles in his character give a complete different impression than what I think most thought he’d be like. He has knowledge, a personality and a code about him and his relationship with death. His backstory will hit. Not to mention the info dump we’re going to get about Wano, Kaido said he chose Wano because it’s special, it used to be called the Jade City. There’s still so much we’re about to learn about the world and Wano in general this arc and you talking about bad world building???
And the politics in OP will never not be interesting simply because of the morality aspect of it. In OP who are the good guys? There really is no good or bad. And that continues to be a point made in the story and is still being built upon.
Oh boy this too much text for me to reply to. Appreciate the efforts but why would I care. When a story makes me lose interest like OP with some of my favorite characters ever made then this s*** mid by my standards. Also I enjoyed Dressrosa and it‘s better than Thriller Bark to me so I dunno why you thought I would be fine with it. Brook backstory hitting tho.
Regardless Wano, Whole cake island and Summit war some ass. Im sorry it is what it is.
Also Politics arent deep just because there is no clear bad guy. And in actuality there are clearly very very clearly bad guys in OP so dont gimme that black and white bullshit
Heck the celestial dragons have f***ing slaves. So what not every guy from the marine is a bad guy this s*** like that in literally every pirate story ever made
If it makes a difference then yea, but if he just experiences extra pain after everything is over then idk if that drawback makes a difference.
Zoro will be fine. He took luffy's pain during Thriller Bark, i dont see any difference with this. He's the Demon King after-all.

thank you paulie Nuts jokes aside I appreciate ya opinion bro

Youre welcome. I didnt expect to go into such a debate just cause I gave my arc ranking. But I am glad I could open your eyes a bit and give you the absolute truth
I read the manga still but i can’t lie i haven’t been excited for One Piece in over 10 years now lowkey. I enjoyed Fishman Island but once the novelty of the TS passed i just couldn’t enjoy it anymore. I do admit that Wano is a much better arc than everything fishman and everything that came after fishman island. Wano is a good arc but to say it’s better than f***ing Alabasta? Water 7? Sky island? Man it’s not even over yet
And yall need to show alabasta some love, both Dressrosa and Wano are very similar to it
