I think both project are just ok and nothing too special and I can see why people don’t like both projects in general so nah nothing seems fishy to me other than those “journalists” who trashed donda for the feature/antics

A 3 is a bit low imo. I'd probably give it like a 6, but I don't really listen to Drake like that so maybe I'm just not as tired of his sound or as disappointed in the lack of progression as others. I went in expecting exactly what I got.

Fair enough I’m like obsessed w music in general so im not expecting everyone to share my opinion

Plus for drake in particular he tends to hv a lot of trash watered down s*** permeate the airwaves so i can see how peoppe are tired of him

Ive only ever listened to drake album cuts, and some of his popular somgs years after at that (like i started liking controlla last yr) so for me his songs have never been oversaturated

I like drake album cuts and I still think this album sounds like all his other music

Bria's interlude, cameras / good ones go, the ride, tuscan leather, furthest thing, too much, and star 67 to name a few if you were ab to ask

Casual rap fans who listen to drake top 40 hits 365 are saying the album is the same old s*** and he’s over saturated and it’s like obviously. Then you have the other group who don’t even get drake in the first place those two groups are why the reception is mid

For someome like me who listens to only the drake songs when he’s at his best, but still just seeing him equal to every other artist in my spotify i can listen to this record front to back and be like “hmm as a project this is better and more consistent than everything he’s done in a while”

Those this album as far 2021 goes catches the moment and quality in a consistent way like his best records probably not but it’s easily more enjoyable than scorpion, more life, dldt etc
