Yeah you gradually do more and more miles every run then there is a plateau point where you start reducing miles before the marathon and start taking miles away.
Is that every run or like weekend run, or 2x week and the rest recovery runs? How close do you get to doing the full length of the marathon in your training before the marathon?

Around 2 long runs a week with recovery runs in between and the most you do is 17-20 max. Thatās why the last 6 miles are always the hardest

Thatās miles to be correct, right?
Itās a good thing Iām training for another marathon because I also have to pace for my cousin to do a 100 mile. This is actually insane last time I paced her I was running up mountains with extreme elevation and even through water for like 10 minutes straight and I have to keep her running at a certain time because you only have a certain amount to finish it. Only have to run 25 tho because the pacers switch off.

Wow thatās crazy, I canāt believe people do stuff like that. Is your cousin like a professional athlete or something? What compels her to do it?

This womanās pretty fascinating too, won a 238mile race in 58 hours, beating men on top of that too

Ran 4.03 miles yesterday, bout to go for another in a few . This gonna be my 4th run this week
I try 1 mile a day.
Sometimes 2
Hereās a old screenshot of one of my runs
Yeezus christ
I need to get back on this
1. Get an Apple Watch
2. Download Nike Run Club app
3. Play the guided runs on āGetting Startedā series. The first one is My First Run.
This is akin to having a coach. Itās very difficult to train yourself. I only learned how to really run this way. I enjoy running instead of dreading it now because Iāve learnt how to actually run.
I have a Fitbit. Is there anything equivalent to tht Nike run thing with Fitbit?
I definitely agree it is hard to train yourself

Oh you can also just use your phone to listen to the guided runs
Get an apple watch theyāre surprisingly motivational. Had mine in a drawer for 4 years then started using the rings and s*** and got addicted to filling them daily

Nike used to have the Fuel Band but that part of Nike got bought out by Apple.
