hit a lil run this morning, started to feel the rhythm of the pace near the end but I'm not going to push too hard too fast. all about consistency
jump roping has helped improved my stamina by tenfold so i dont feel like s*** whenever i want to run

What’s your workout for jump roping?
Are running shoes a gimmick
No. I once felt the same and bought cheap running shoes on sale at places like Academy. I thought I’m just gonna run in these and beat them to s***, there’s no sense in buying something expensive. Last year when I decided I was gonna get serious about running and bought a pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus 25s and it completely changed my thoughts on running shoes. Felt like I was running on pillows and I was able to run consecutive days with no injuries and light soreness. You have to also remember that the impact over time on your legs and joints also play a factor for in the future, so you need to treat your legs. Depending on my workouts I switch between Gel Nimbus 25s and Magic Speeds.
However, I wouldn’t go out and buy super shoes like Alphaflys or Vapor Trails unless I’m going crazy like running sub 3 hour marathons.

i jump usually every other day for 30-45 mins but sometimes if i'm feeling myself i'll just go to the park and run for a good 5-6 miles along a loop

im ngl the first week for me was a lil shaky but once you're able to overcome that hurdle, it clicks. i genuinely look forward to jump roping tbh
Been back the past month and a half
Feels good but progress is slow this time cause I’m so out of shape 😅
Are running shoes a gimmick
You’re destroying your body without good shoes and form
I honestly need to start incorporating weights if I wanna get any better. I might just go see a doctor about this tendinitis
Are running shoes a gimmick
Obvious answers no
I got wide feet and if I try to run in standard shoes my feet, calves, and shins will scream at me
who's still running? i'm back on my 5k movements
Just started recently, I wanna do a 5k by end of the year
What lengths are ppl here running for?
up to 12 miles a week spread across two workouts, its not much but good enough for me
