Week 6 of couch to 5K
king 🫡

I hate when a motherfucker I’ve never seen at the track starts lapping me. Anyways let me log my 4 miles/hour.

Did my first run today after taking like a month and half off after dealing with piriformis syndrome. The nrc app on my apple watch kept crashing so idk what my pace was but it was probably somewhere in the ~9:30 for around 2 miles. I felt a little soreness towards the end but nothing I'd consider painful. Hoping to get back into it.

I'm nearing end of the couch to 5K program and don't know what to do next and I didn't think I'd make it this far in, what kind of goal should I set I just wanna run for cardio

mmm mybe u could try ramping up to like 6 miles or something if that sounds appealing
Been having a tough time gaining stamina since recovering from covid. Right now I’m just running a mile then walking one. Ran 3.5 all the way thru last week though so that was bigger
i f***ed up my foot bad last run and i dont got insurance to see a doctor to know how serious it is
my dumb ass fault for running in old shoes
literally idek what happened though my foot just started feeling kinda sore at the end of the run but by the time i got back to apartment every step was excruciating pain on the left side of my left foot and it’s still like that today
i been running constantly for a decade now and ive never gotten hurt even once before smfh

Do a 10k? First actually participate in a 5k run after you finish the program. Then either 10k or switch to like a HIIT Sprint type thing. Depends on your goals

I'm sorry to hear about this b, it sucks that when you get a injury that you have a scheduled prolonged period out for.
I hurt my ankle in late july, and only recently got back on it. I hope you have a swift recovery

Seeing progress feels so good. Finally able to smoothly run a 5k after months of trying to get back into running shape
