i saw some crazy s*** with a deluxe set of this other band “uriah heep” .

this band decided to finesse their whole fan base with a heavy priced box set with multit shirts and a complete 7 lp set with no new material & they included 7 shirts. the extra discs were band favorites - they just picked the songs from the album. one disc was the singers favorite, anothetvdisc the guitarist. the audacity to try that s*** is on a whole other level.

and here i am complaining about single edits. 😳

and then they pretended in the bio write up like this was an amazing box set for the fans. they used 4 discs to pick favorites

i feel bad for fans of this band , they waited 50 years and you open it up and you get 4 wasted discs where they could’ve just picked a list of songs and put it in the deluxe book. i’m not listening to the drummers favorite songs.

last time they dropped a random Prince demo we got originals.. maybe a 70s compilation of demos

They must have wanted to do a 40th but they didn’t have the material prepped. That’s how I see a move like this. They probably pivoted to diamonds & pearls because it was the closest to completion but they still missed the 30th anniversary date. The estate needs to plan another year in advance. Maybe that’s why they put out the Prince welcome 2 America because they didn’t have the 2 releases ready. Because really what was the significance of this date? 😳

It actually makes sense, they probably are trying to sequence the tapes in proper order. Duane tudahl put the heat on their ass. 😎
