It's killing species at an astronomical rate, destroying ecosystems and it will genuinely make it worse for every inhabitant on Earth over time. Will it happen in ten years? No the Earth wont blow up lol.

However over the next century it will do irreversible damage to the planet if we dont start to act now. Earth actually will become uninhabitable wayyy more quickly than it was originally supposed to.

I think that designates a serious threat. Seriously if I were you i would research climate change and the effects it has already had on the planet and will have in the coming century.
